Hybrid Burl Wood and Acrylic Ink Pen

This pen is classified as a hybrid, a mixture of figured wood and colorful acrylic. A hybrid pen is difficult to turn due to two distinct hardnesses of the materials. Hard pressure is needed to cut through the wood and then the pressure has to be immediately reduced to bring out the beauty of the acrylic. When the ink cartridge needs to be replaced, simply use a standard Parker refill.
